Communication from the City Manager with a Request to RECEIVE and FILE a PRESENTATION from BRADLEY UNIVERSITY Regarding WCBU.

BACKGROUND: Bradley University has operated WCBU since its inception in 1970 as part of National Public Radio. WCBU broadcasts the Peoria City Council meetings and has been a presence in local news since its inception. In 2018, Bradley University announced it was looking to seek an alternative arrangement to the current operating structure. On January 22, 2019 the Peoria City Council passed a Resolution in support of local public radio programming and maintaining the presence of WCBU within the City of Peoria.
Bradley University officials will be present to discuss the status of the transition.
