BACKGROUND: Petitioner Ryan Vande Bosche of Washington Prime Group, Inc is requesting to add a 35-foot tall, 640 sq. ft. multi-tenant freestanding sign located at the southernmost mall entrance on Sterling Avenue. The request also includes allowance for two additional freestanding signs of the same size and height to be placed in yet to be determined locations.

The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request met the Findings of Fact and voted 5 to 0 to APPROVE the request subject to the following conditions:
1) No more than three freestanding signs may exceed 35 feet in height and 640 sq. ft. in size.
2) Verification that the proposed sign meets clearance requirements for existing overhead utility lines
