Title

Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a Request to APPROVE an INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT between the City of Peoria and the GREATER PEORIA SANITARY DISTRICT (GPSD) in Support of Pringle Technologies for the Haven on the Farm Development.

BACKGROUND:  Currently, there is no sewer service along U.S. Route 150 near the Haven on the Farm Development. The Sewer Extension Project for Pringle Technologies will allow sewer service at the property, Haven on the Farm, located at 6221 US-150, Edwards, IL 61528 (PARCEL ID 1310100017).

 

To promote economic development, the City wishes to extend public sanitary sewer service from the existing GPSD sewer infrastructure to the property, as further outlined in the attached proposed agreement.

 

This project will be funded with COVID funds and an earmark from U.S. Senator Dick Durbin.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  Expenditures would be funded from Account #4013001-523655-W2310 from the 2023 Budget.
