BACKGROUND: Mary Peterson and Tim Bertschy, Co-Chairs of the City of Peoria and Peoria County Joint Commission on Racial Justice and Equity will provide a presentation on the 2022 Annual Report of the Commission.
The 2022 Annual Report is the first major output of the Commission and is intended to provide a baseline for racial inequities in the City and County of Peoria. This is an important first step in a multi-year, fact driven effort to make Peoria a more livable and equitable community for all its residents.
