Communication From the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a Request to APPROVE a CONTRACT With KREILING ROOFING COMPANY, for the Roof Replacement at the Bannon Resident Officer House, in the Amount of $28,261.00.

BACKGROUND:  As part of the resident officer program, the City took possession of a house at 520 W. Armstrong (Bannon House) in April of 2013.  During the assessment of renovation and repair needs for the house it was determined the roof would need to be replaced. 

The current roof is slate and well over Seventy-Five (75) years old.  Replacing the roof will keep the renovations of the house moving forward, save on repairs of the current roof and be aesthetically appealing for the neighborhood. 

The purchasing Division solicited bids for the replacement of the roof distributing sixteen (16) bid packets and receiving three (3) responses.
