Body

BACKGROUND:  The applicant, Bernard Taylor for Mananga Mutombo, requests approval of an Urban Farm. The property in question is currently vacant as the homes at 1603 and 1607 S Westmoreland Ave were demolished in 2019 and 2000, respectively.  The applicant noted at the public hearing that no parking will be provided on private property and the site plan would be updated to reconcile the issue.

The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request, in case PZ 1276-2023, met the Findings of Fact and voted 6-0 to approve the request subject to the following conditions:

1.                     This special use shall adhere to the performance regulations contained within Section 5.3.G.2. of the Unified Development Code.

2.                     Submit a revised scaled site plan.
