PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION ACTION: The Planning & Zoning Commission VOTED 5 TO 0 TO APPROVE with the following condition:
1) A sound study must be conducted during the event.
2) A berm must be constructed along the west property line adjacent to the camp grounds.
3) Amplified or speaker systems for announcement purposes must be directed to the east or away from the immediate residential properties.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: Neighbors voiced objections to the proposed event citing concerns for noise and the ability of Expo to continue to request additional motorized events. One neighbor wrote a supportive letter stating that noise and traffic from Expo are short-lived and not unbearable and Expo should be able to schedule events to generate needed revenue.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The Peace Brothers Motorcycle Rodeo event will be held at Exposition Gardens from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2014.
IMPACT IF DENIED: The Peace Brothers Motorcycle Rodeo event will not be held at Exposition Gardens.
