IMPACT IF APPROVED: Replacement of these front-line patrol units ensures a fleet of serviceable police emergency vehicles for neighborhood patrols and other necessary police functions.

IMPACT IF DENIED:  If these vehicles are not replaced, additional stress will be placed on the existing fleet in the form of increased cost and numbers of repairs for maintenance on existing emergency vehicles.  There is also a greater potential for additional down time and unavailability of a minimum police fleet.
