PRESENTATION by Adam White of ShaZam Racing Regarding the 2014 Peoria "Run River City" MARATHON being held May 18, 2014.

BACKGROUND: ShaZam Racing (formerly R.C. Race Management, LLC) will hold the second annual Run River City Marathon and Run River City Races on May 18, 2014. Last year, nearly 2,000 people participated in the half marathon, marathon relay, 5K, and kid's mini marathon held in conjunction with the full marathon. Mr. White will provide the City Council with details of the 2014 race and answer any questions.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The full marathon as well as the other races draws participants from across the Midwest to Peoria for the weekend.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: Mr. White will discuss outreach efforts to the impacted neighborhoods and improved communication from the 2013 race.
