Communication from the City Manager and Finance Director/Comptroller with a Request to APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Administration to Hold an AUCTION at the City of Peoria Operations and Maintenance Facility on Dries Lane, Saturday, October 12, 2019.

BACKGROUND: The City of Peoria disposes of used cars and equipment through the auction process. This auction will include Seventeen (17) fleet cars and trucks that have been replaced. There also may be confiscated cars plus miscellaneous items from departments. Other agencies are being asked to participate. The City will administer the auction.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: Receipt of revenues budgeted in the City’s 2019 budget.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: None.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Receipt of revenues as budgeted in the City’s 2019 budget.
IMPACT IF DENIED: Auction will not occur and revenues included in the budget will be reduced.
