BACKGROUND:  The Peoria Housing Authority is working through the process of redeveloping Taft Homes.  This includes a new development plan, administratively reviewed subdivision plat and proposed private streets and private street maintenance agreement.  The private streets and maintenance agreement must be approved by City Council.

 

The attached subdivision plat illustrates the proposed street locations and street names of:

                     Green Street

                     Lilly Street

                     Prosperity Street

 

All street names are acceptable to Public Works and the Fire Department.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  N/A

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED:  The private streets, names, and maintenance agreement will be approved for the Taft Homes redevelopment.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:  The private streets, names and maintenance agreement will not be approved.
