BACKGROUND: Mr. Darrin Armstrong, Owner, presented a Site Application to add a Subclass 1 (4:00 a.m. hours) to an existing Class A (tavern) Liquor License for 104 South St. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this Site Application, contingent upon the payment of all restaurant taxes owed to the City of Peoria. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.
*Note: Payment of all restaurant taxes owed was received on December 2, 2014.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: One neighboring business owner expressed his concern to Liquor Commission Chairman Cassidy in regards to the safety of bar patrons due to the amount of truck traffic to his business.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Alcohol may be sold and consumed at this establishment on a daily basis from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 a.m.
IMPACT IF DENIED: This site will only be approved to sell and consume alcohol from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily.
