BACKGROUND:  The Illinois Compiled Statutes (65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-30) require, before entering upon duties of their respective offices, all municipal officers, except alderman and trustees shall execute a bond with security to be approved by the corporate authorities.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  $10,000.00 included in the 2021 Revised Annual Budget in account 1011221-503211.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  None.

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED: The municipal officers will be in compliance with the Illinois Compiled Statutes.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:  The municipal officers will not be in compliance with the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
