(Council District 1)

BACKGROUND: Petitioner Leo Johnson is requesting to operate an auto sale business. The property is development with an approximately 1,500 sq. ft. building and parking area.

The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request met the Findings of Fact and voted 7 to 0 to APPROVE with the following conditions and waiver:
1) Stripe the parking lot for all regular and handicap accessible spaces.
2) Provide for one bicycle parking space.
3) Install handicap parking identification signs.
4) Remove or replace the existing fence.
5) Remove peeling paint and repaint exterior building fa?ade as needed.
6) Replace deteriorated and non-ADA compliant sidewalks and curbs along property frontage.
7) Waiver to allow for alternative landscape plan as shown on site plan.
8) All repairs must be completed within six months of City Council approval.
