BACKGROUND: Peoria Firefighters Local 50 has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at the “Peoria Beer Mile” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held outside of 112 State St. between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Firefighters Local 50. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
