BACKGROUND: Build Peoria has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at an “Arts Festival” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held in the 1200-1300 blocks of SW Adams between the hours of 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Volunteers will be checking IDs and issuing wristbands. All proceeds will benefit Build Peoria and Big Picture Initiative. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
