Communication from City Manager and Director of Public Works with a Request to APPROVE the First Amendment to MASTER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT #16-119-D with CRAWFORD, MURPHY & TILLY, INC., for a Not to Exceed Amount of $250,000.00 Extension for Design Engineering and Other Various Services in 2018. (All Council Districts)

BACKGROUND: On April 12, 2016, Council approved Master Services Agreement #16-119-D with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. in the original amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00 for Design Engineering and Other Various Services.
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. has reached their Master Service Agreement limit. In order to continue professional services in 2018 for Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., staff recommends adding a $250,000.00 extension to their Master Services Agreement.
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. has been providing construction engineering, surveying and other professional services to the City. 30% of CMT's Master Service Agreement has been completed by DBE sub-consultants including Simantel, Sondhi Solutions, Hermann and Associates, and Millennia Professional Services.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding for the Work Orders under the Master Service Agreements will come from Stormwater Utility funds.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: This Contract extension will enable the City to continue to be responsive to citizen concerns.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Staff can issue work orders to continue using Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. for professional services.
IMPACT IF DENIED: Staff will not be able to issue work orders to continue using Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. for professional services.
