BACKGROUND: The Pleasure Driveway & Park District of Peoria has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a “Mardi Gras in May” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area in the 200-600 block of Water Street between the hours of 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Security will be provided. All proceeds will benefit Peoria Park District & PACVB. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
