BACKGROUND: Mr. Martin Reeves, Owner, presented a Site Application for a Class B (restaurant, 50% food) Liquor License with a Subclass 3A* (sidewalk café) for 5901 N. Prospect, Suite 13. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this Site Application. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.
Since this a change or expansion of the Special Use in place for the shopping center in which the site is located, such change or expansion must be reviewed and administratively approved by Community Development Department.
*Except for Subclasses 1 (4 a.m.) and 1a (2 a.m.), a site application of a subclass liquor license does not require affirmative approval by the City Council.
