Communication from Mayor Ali and Corporation Counsel with a Request to APPROVE a RESOLUTION to Increase the BASE SALARY of the City Manager by THREE PERCENT (3%).

BACKGROUND:  The Mayor and City Council conducted a performance review of the City Manager, Patrick Urich, covering the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. Based upon that review, the attached Resolution increases Urich’s base salary by Three Percent (3%) or $6,225.37, retroactive to January 1, 2023.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  City Manager’s base salary will be increased by $6,225.37.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  None.

                    

IMPACT IF APPROVED: Increase to the City Manager’s compensation by 3% or $6,225.37.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:  Maintain the City Manager’s compensation at its current level.

 

ALTERNATIVES:  As Council directs.
