BACKGROUND: Engine 20 is a vital resource to the Fire Department. By rebuilding the engine, this will save the City and Fire Department both time and money. The repairs to this machine will make it function at full capacity.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The total estimate of $29,757.85 will be taken from the Fire Department’s budget.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: N/A
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Engine 20 will run at full capacity.
IMPACT IF DENIED: A valuable machine will not be functionable and taken out of service.
