BACKGROUND: The City has awarded a Storm Sewer Repair Contract since 2010. These types of repairs typically require heavy equipment and specialized techniques that commercial contractors can provide. This annual contract has eliminated the delays experienced waiting for the designing, bidding, letting, and Council approval of individual contracts for each repair project. The contract terms provide allowances for up to two annual contract extensions.
