Body
BACKGROUND: Petitioner, Dr Rachel Kuhn-Siegel of Prairie Animal Hospital, is requesting to amend the existing special use to add a veterinary clinic at the property addressed at 4123 W Partridge Way including the undeveloped lot at the corner of Partridge Way and Peartree Lane. The clinic will be located in the former car wash building along with an approximately 3,300 sq. ft. building addition. The proposed development will also include a parking lot, additional landscaping, and three exterior animal exercise yards which are surrounded by eight-foot tall fencing.

The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request met the Findings of Fact and voted 4 to 0 to APPROVE an amendment to the existing Special Use to add a Veterinary Clinic with a condition of approval as proposed by the petitioner that animals using the exercise yards will be under direct and continuous supervision to prevent their escape or unreasonable generation of barking or other noises.

See the attached Planning & Zoning Commission case packet and meeting minutes for detailed information regarding the requested special use amendment.
