BACKGROUND:  In 2016, the chair of the Mayor’s Advisory Committee for the Disabled met with Mayor Ardis to discuss why the members unanimously voted to change the name of the committee to the Mayor’s Advisory Committee for Citizens with Disabilities.

 

Their reasons for making this request were explained in the attached letter sent to the City Council.
