Communication from the City Manager and the Finance Director/Comptroller with a Request to CONTINUE DISCUSSION of the 2018-2019 BIENNIAL BUDGET.

BACKGROUND:  Staff will present the budget report backs requested by Council at the October 11 Special Council meeting.  At the request of Councilman Grayeb, staff has extended an invitation to the City Unions to provide input and/or a brief presentation   Finally, staff would like to present a modified budget calendar to the Council for discussion and input.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  The City is required to have a balanced budget.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  The budget has direct impact upon services delivered in City neighborhoods.

ALTERNATIVES:  Alternatives will be discussed during the policy session.
