BACKGROUND: Tremayne Branch, Owner, and John Deckert, Attorney, presented a Site Application for a Class A (tavern) Liquor License, with a Subclass 2 (live entertainment) at 1801 SW Adams. The Liquor Commission voted 2-2 to recommend denial of this Site Application. Minutes of the November 4, 2019 Liquor Commission Meeting will be submitted upon completion.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: A neighboring business owner provided testimony and submitted documents including a petition of individuals and area business owners who were opposed to a liquor license at the site.
The applicant submitted a letter for the record along with a petition of signatures of Peoria citizens in support of the request for a liquor license at this location.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Alcoholic beverages can be sold and consumed at this establishment.
IMPACT IF DENIED: This site will not be able to sell or serve any kind of alcohol.
