BACKGROUND: Staff has received a request to establish a Residential Parking Permit Program from the residents of the 100 block of West Beverly Court.

Staff has received a petition from 7 of 9 (78%) of the homeowners in the 100 block of West Beverly Court requesting to establish a Residential Parking Permit Program on the 100 block of West Beverly Court (N. Linn Street west to the alley east of Knoxville Avenue). The petition requests that the parking restriction of the Program are enforced all days and all hours (24/7). The Peoria Police Department's supports this request. The review of the petition was reviewed by the City of Peoria Transportation Commission at the December 17, 2019 City of Peoria Transportation Commission Meeting. The Transportation Commission voted to recommend the approval of the Residential Parking Permit Program to the City Manager and City Council.
