BACKGROUND:  Attorney Sam Zabek, representing Sonny’s Club, Inc., presented a Site Application for a Class B-1 (restaurant, 25% food) Liquor License, with a Subclass 1 (4:00 a.m. hours) and a Subclass 2 (live entertainment) for 633 Main St.  The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this Site Application.  Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting will be distributed on the floor at the City Council Meeting.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT: N/A

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:   Two letters in opposition of the request were submitted by two area churches.

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED:  Alcoholic beverages can be sold and consumed at this business.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:   This business will not be able to sell or serve any kind of alcohol.
