Communication from the City Manager, Community Development Director and the Finance Director/Comptroller with a Request for the Following:
A. APPROVE an AGREEMENT with the NEIGHBORHOOD ALLIANCE Related to the Use of Surplus Regional Neighborhood Network Funds.
B. ADOPT an ORDINANCE Amending the City of Peoria CAPITAL FUND BUDGET for FISCAL YEAR 2014 to Recognize Excess Donations for the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference to be Used for Future REGIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK CONFERENCES, in the Amount of $32,256.00

BACKGROUND: On August 12, 2014, the City Council determined that the surplus funds from the Peoria 2013 RNNC event would be held by the City. These funds would be used to send Peoria neighborhood residents to future RNNC events per the attached agreement.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: $32,255.80 will be held by the City for RNNC purposes until such time as the funds are exhausted.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: The request for the use of these funds came from the Neighborhood Alliance and was supported by City staff.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The agreement would be entered into.
IMPACT IF DENIED: There would be no agreement as to the use of the funds.
