BACKGROUND: Natasha Adams has filed a complaint against the City of Peoria and the Peoria Police Department in the United States District Court, Central District of Illinois. Plaintiff claims the Peoria Police Department interfered with a civil matter, removed her possessions, locked her out of her house and falsely arrested her. The City and its Police Department deny these allegations and the Legal Department will vigorously defend this matter.
