BACKGROUND: On November 12, 2013, City Council held a public hearing and approved Resolution 13-459 for an annexation agreement for approximately 18 acres along US Route 91 which was not contiguous with the City of Peoria boundary at that time.  The property in question is now contiguous due to recent Council action and annexation is requested pursuant to the adopted Resolution and Annexation Agreement.  This property is formerly known as Apple Blossom Farm and multiple agricultural buildings are present on the site in question.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT: Additional property taxes upon annexation

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: None

 

IMPACT IF APPROVED: The property will be annexed in accordance with Resolution 13-459 adopted by City Council on November 12, 2013

 

IMPACT IF DENIED: The property will not be annexed in accordance with Resolution 13-459 adopted by City Council on November 12, 2013
