BACKGROUND: The Petitioner is requesting a special use to reuse the former Town & Country Bowling Alley for automobile sales and repair. The site contains 2.86 acres and includes a vacant 31,576 sq. ft. building situated near the south property line with parking surrounding the building to the north, east and southeast.
The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request did not meet the Findings of Fact requirements and VOTED 5 TO 1 TO DENY.

FINANCIAL IMPACT: N/A
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The subject property will not be approved for a special use for auto sales and repair.
IMPACT IF DENIED: Staff will bring back an ordinance for the proposed special use to be approved by Council at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
