BACKGROUND: The Greater Peoria Family YMCA has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a “Summer Soiree” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area at 7000 N. Fleming Lane between the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Security will be provided. All proceeds will benefit Greater Peoria Family YMCA. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
