BACKGROUND:  Projects utilizing Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Funds must follow policies of IDOT’s Division of Local Roads. One such policy is for MFT Sections to be reconciled upon completion of a project.  Staff has worked to reconcile a backlog of 43 projects to be closed out; 32 have been completed, and appropriating the additional funds in the attached Supplemental MFT Resolutions will bring the total to 35.  Supplemental Resolutions are required by IDOT to reconcile MFT projects that have exceeded their original project resolution totals.
