Communication from the City Manager and Fire Chief with a Request to APPROVE a 2-Year CONTRACT from PSTrax for INVENTORY SOFTWARE, in the Amount of $47,450.00 for the First Year, $24,950.00 for the Second Year, for a Total Amount of $72,400.00.

BACKGROUND: By implementing this PSTrax Software, we are able to utilize several modules to ensure the safety, quality, tracking of gear, apparatus, and medications. PSTrax uses several such modules to schedule routine maintenance on vehicles, inspections on fire gear, inventory on controlled substances.
There are seven modules in total, covering vehicles, stations, gear such as SCBA and PPE, medical supplies such as Inventory and controlled substances. Each of these modules assists and aides in accountability and accuracy. This program moves inventory to a digital age and away from pen and paper.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The cost would come from the 2023 Fire Department budget.
