BACKGROUND: Recently, Cullinan Properties purchased the property located at 303 North William Kumpf Boulevard from Great Plains Orthopedic. The building is to be occupied by Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC. The off-street parking lot for this building is the City-owned City Center Parking Lot.
Great Plains Orthopedic had a parking agreement with the City for the use of 45 spaces in the City Center Parking Lot. Soon after purchasing the property, Cullinan Properties contacted Public Works and requested that the parking agreement be transferred to Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC.
Included as an attachment is the proposed Shared Parking Agreement between the City of Peoria and Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC, outlining the similar terms from the previous parking agreement with Great Plains Orthopedic, for the use of 45 parking spaces at the City Center Parking Lot in exchange for the payment of the annual parking fee of $19,980.00. Exhibit 1 attached is an aerial view of the location. Public Works staff requests the approval of the agreement.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The City will continue to realize the annual parking fee of $19,980.00 from Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC for the use of 45 parking spaces in the City Center Parking Lot.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: N/A
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The City of Peoria and Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC will enter into a Shared Parking Agreement for 45 parking spaces in the City Center Parking Lot.
IMPACT IF DENIED: The City of Peoria and Cullinan Kumpf Medical, LLC will not enter into a Shared Parking Agreement for 45 parking spaces in the City Center Parking Lot.
