BACKGROUND: Juan L. Alejandre Conciléon, d/b/a Taqueria Jalisco Antojitos Mexicanos, presented a Site Application for a Class B (Restaurant, 50% Food) liquor license. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend denial of this Site Application. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: The Police Department shared concerns regarding open-air seating with alcohol being carried from the POS (point of sale) and not into a secured area adjacent to the business. The Police Department stated alcohol sales at the proposed location would be detrimental to the family friendly shopping environment and surrounding businesses.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Alcoholic Beverages can be consumed and sold at this establishment.
IMPACT IF DENIED: This site will not be able to serve or sell any kind of alcohol.
