Body
BACKGROUND: The Sheridan Road project is an arterial street within the City that needs significant infrastructure repair, as it is beyond an overlay. The segment between McClure Avenue and Eleanor Place was budgeted in the 2012 CIP and is currently under construction by R.A. Construction will be completed on Sheridan Road Phase 1 from McClure Avenue to Eleanor Place in 2017.

Sheridan Road Phase 2, from Richmond Avenue to Eleanor Place, continues the Sheridan Road project. Phase 2 design will begin in 2016, and construction is planned in 2020. This section will contain the same roadway features in the Phase 1 improvement.

The attached MFT Resolution will fund these preliminary design engineering services, which will be provided by Hanson Professional Services under their Master Services Agreement #16-119-C approved by Council April 12, 2016 for the not to exceed amount of $1.5 million.
