BACKGROUND:  Peoria Firefighters Local 50 has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at the “2nd Annual Peoria Beer Mile” outdoor fundraiser.  The fundraiser will be held in the sidewalk area between the hours of 5:00 p.m. until 11:59 p.m.  Security will be provided.  All proceeds will benefit Peoria Firefighters Local 50.  The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
