BACKGROUND: The American Cancer Society has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a “Farm to Table Peoria” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area in the Junction City parking lot between the hours of 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit American Cancer Society. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
