BACKGROUND: The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy is a regional planning document required the US EDA for any federally designated Economic Development District. This document is created through an inclusive analytical and reflective planning process and results in a measurable road map to regional economic prosperity.
The document was created as a result of a months-long planning process that took place between 2019 and 2020 and included five counties.
