Communication from the City Manager and Interim Fire Chief with a Request to APPROVE the PURCHASE of a Fire Apparatus from PIERCE MACQUEEN, for an Amount Not to Exceed $3,200,000.00.

BACKGROUND: In order to ensure delivery of 3 Fire Machines in 2023, orders must be placed as soon as possible to hold a place in production. No payment or deposit is needed at this time but is due upon delivery. This approval is only for holding our place in the production line to avoid significant delays in delivery for much needed machinery.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: No financial impact at this time.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: None at this time.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Prompt delivery of imperative Fire Machines.
IMPACT IF DENIED: Significant delays in delivery of Emergency Vehicles for the Fire Department.
