BACKGROUND:  
The Mayor and the City Council conducted a performance review of the City Manager, Patrick Urich.  Based upon that review, the attached Resolution increases Patrick Urich's compensation by $10,000 to be taken as a one-time bonus, an increase in base salary, an increase in deferred compensation or any combination deemed appropriate by the City Manager.  Any increase in the base salary is retroactive to January 1, 2014.
 
FINANCIAL IMPACT:  $10,000 will be distributed as a one-time bonus, an increase in base salary, increase in deferred compensation or any combination therein.
 
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  Not applicable.
      
IMPACT IF APPROVED: Increases the City Manager's compensation by $10,000.
 
IMPACT IF DENIED: Keep the City Manager's compensation at its current level.
