Communication from the City Manager and the Information Systems Director with a Request to APPROVE an AGREEMENT with CDWG to Provide a PDF Software known as FOXIT, in the Amount of $22,291.20.

BACKGROUND: The City of Peoria has utilized Adobe Acrobat Pro for many years. It has typically been the standard PDF software. However, the price has increased significantly ($53,089.20) over time and our current licensing structure has been discontinued. The Information Systems Department ran a pilot program with 25 staff throughout all departments and found that Foxit worked well with very few issues. Most staff are in favor of moving to Foxit.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding of the software will be paid out of the information Systems software budget.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: There are no concerns. They will not be affected with.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The software would be purchased, and the department would save $31,000.
IMPACT IF DENIED: City Staff would continue to use Adobe at a higher cost.
