BACKGROUND: The Peoria Promise Foundation has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a “Zero K Race” outdoor fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area in the Junction City parking lot between the hours of 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Security will be provided. All proceeds will benefit Peoria Promise. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
