BACKGROUND:  The Illinois Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at an outdoor fundraiser following a 5K race.  The fundraiser will be held in a roped off area in the Junction City parking lot between the hours of 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Security will be provided by volunteers.  All proceeds will benefit the Illinois Chapter of Concerns for Police Survivors, Inc.  The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
