BACKGROUND: The Neighborhood House Association has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at an outdoor fundraiser during the 1st Annual George Jacob Gut Buster 5K Fun Run. The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area on the sidewalk in front of Running Central between the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Security will be provided by the Police Dept., employees and volunteers. All proceeds will benefit the Neighborhood House Association. The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
