BACKGROUND: At the Council Meeting on June 23, 2015, Council adopted Ordinance 17,242 amending Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of Peoria concerning regulation governing Taxi-Cab and Transportation Network Carriers. Subsequent to June 23, 2015, Corporation Counsel noted that certain technical amendments needed to be made to this Ordinance, thus this Ordinance repeals and replaces Ordinance 17,242.
