Communication from the City Manager and Finance Director/Comptroller with a REQUEST to RECEIVE and FILE the 2014 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT (CAFR) by McGladrey LLP.

 

Body

BACKGROUND: McGladrey LLP delivered the 2014 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) to the City on July 13, 2015. The report continues to include all component units as required by accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.

 

We believe this report meets the requirements for the Governmental Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The 2014 CAFR has been submitted to the Government Finance Officers Association for consideration for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The City of Peoria’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report has received the award for the past fourteen (14) years.
