ORANGE PRAIRIE ROAD - PARKING LOT, On Saturday, July 2, 2016.  (Council District 5)

BACKGROUND: The Illinois CancerCare Foundation has applied for a temporary outdoor liquor license that will allow for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a “BBQ Cookoff & Sangria World’s Record” outdoor fundraiser.  The fundraiser will be held in a fenced off area at 7610 N. Orange Prairie Road (Hy-Vee Parking Lot) between the hours of 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  Security will be provided by Hy-Vee employees.  All proceeds will benefit Illinois CancerCare Foundation.  The Peoria Police Department has recommended that this license be granted.
